Across TCGA patient cohorts, RNLS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,651 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RNLS-associated genes across cancer lineages are EME1, NCAPH, and ALDH2. Each is linked with RNLS in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RNLS-to-partner and partner-to-RNLS results are reported.
