Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNF207 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNF207’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where RNF207 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNF207 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and PRAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, STAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where RNF207 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
