Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNF149 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RNF149 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RNF149 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNF149 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, SCLC, and ESCA are the cancer types where RNF149 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
