Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNASEH2C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RNASEH2C data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RNASEH2C mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNASEH2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where RNASEH2C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
