Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNASEH2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RNASEH2B data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RNASEH2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNASEH2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where RNASEH2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
