Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP498 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP498’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RNA5SP498 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP498 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and BLCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, KIRP, and COAD are the cancer types where RNA5SP498 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
