Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP496 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP496’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where RNA5SP496 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP496 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BLCA, KIRC, and KICH are the cancer types where RNA5SP496 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
