Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP429 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP429’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RNA5SP429 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP429 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRP and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, KIRP, and LUSC are the cancer types where RNA5SP429 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
