Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP354 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP354’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where RNA5SP354 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP354 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PAAD and LIHC are the cancer types where RNA5SP354 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
