Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP351 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP351’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where RNA5SP351 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP351 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRP, LUSC, and THCA are the cancer types where RNA5SP351 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
