Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP294 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP294’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RNA5SP294 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP294 is over-expressed in tumor.
THCA are the cancer types where RNA5SP294 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
