Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP271 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP271’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where RNA5SP271 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP271 is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC are the cancer types where RNA5SP271 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
