Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP219 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP219’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RNA5SP219 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP219 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, HNSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where RNA5SP219 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
