Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP103 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP103’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where RNA5SP103 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP103 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, KIRP, and THCA are the cancer types where RNA5SP103 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
