Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5-8SN1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNA5-8SN1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RNA5-8SN1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNA5-8SN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML show a favorable association.

BLCA, LAML, and LUAD are the cancer types where RNA5-8SN1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
