Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL862P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL862P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where RN7SL862P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL862P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where RN7SL862P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
