Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL827P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL827P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SL827P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL827P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and PAAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, PAAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where RN7SL827P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
