Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL79P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL79P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where RN7SL79P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL79P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, THCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where RN7SL79P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
