Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL688P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL688P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SL688P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL688P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and UCEC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where RN7SL688P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
