Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL597P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL597P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where RN7SL597P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL597P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
HNSC, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where RN7SL597P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
