Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL517P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL517P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where RN7SL517P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL517P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUSC and THCA are the cancer types where RN7SL517P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
