Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL404P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL404P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SL404P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL404P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where RN7SL404P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
