Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL402P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL402P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SL402P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL402P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, LUSC, and STAD are the cancer types where RN7SL402P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
