Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL391P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL391P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where RN7SL391P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL391P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRP, KICH, and CHOL are the cancer types where RN7SL391P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
