Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL33P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL33P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SL33P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL33P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and ESCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA and ESCA are the cancer types where RN7SL33P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
