Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL296P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL296P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where RN7SL296P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL296P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PAAD are the cancer types where RN7SL296P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
