Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL251P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL251P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SL251P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL251P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and BLCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where RN7SL251P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
