Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL182P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL182P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where RN7SL182P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL182P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, KIRP, and THCA are the cancer types where RN7SL182P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
