Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SKP292 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SKP292’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where RN7SKP292 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SKP292 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, KICH, and STAD are the cancer types where RN7SKP292 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
