Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SKP285 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SKP285’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SKP285 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SKP285 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and ESCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, KICH, and BLCA are the cancer types where RN7SKP285 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
