Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SKP244 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SKP244’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where RN7SKP244 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SKP244 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as ESCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KICH, ESCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where RN7SKP244 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
