Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SKP218 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SKP218’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where RN7SKP218 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SKP218 is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRC are the cancer types where RN7SKP218 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
