Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RMDN3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RMDN3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RMDN3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RMDN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and COAD are the cancer types where RMDN3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
