Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RIN2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RIN2 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RIN2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RIN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LUAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, OV, and LUAD are the cancer types where RIN2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
