Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RIC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RIC1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RIC1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RIC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RIC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
