Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RHOH RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RHOH’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where RHOH RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RHOH is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and BLCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, LUSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where RHOH tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
