Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RGMA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RGMA data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher RGMA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RGMA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
ESCA, READ, and BRCA are the cancer types where RGMA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
