Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RFPL3S RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RFPL3S data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RFPL3S RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RFPL3S expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCS show a favorable association.
KIRC, BLCA, and ACC are the cancer types where RFPL3S RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
