Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RETREG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RETREG2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher RETREG2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RETREG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC, PRAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where RETREG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
