Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RERGL RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RERGL data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RERGL RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RERGL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LGG show a favorable association.
ACC, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where RERGL RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
