Across TCGA patient cohorts, RERG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,929 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RERG-associated genes across cancer lineages are RERG-AS1, CKAP2L, and BUB1. Each is linked with RERG in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RERG-to-partner and partner-to-RERG results are reported.
