Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RELA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RELA data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher RELA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RELA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, ESCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where RELA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
