Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REG3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated REG3A data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher REG3A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REG3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.
ACC, ESCA, and STAD are the cancer types where REG3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
