Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REG1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated REG1A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher REG1A Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REG1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.

BLCA, SKCM, and SCLC are the cancer types where REG1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
