Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REG1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated REG1A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher REG1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REG1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

CCRCC are the cancer types where REG1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
