Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RECQL RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RECQL data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher RECQL RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RECQL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where RECQL RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
