Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RDH8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RDH8 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher RDH8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RDH8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC and COAD are the cancer types where RDH8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
