Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RCSD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RCSD1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RCSD1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RCSD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where RCSD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
