Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RCN2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RCN2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RCN2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RCN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RCN2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
