Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RCL1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RCL1 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RCL1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RCL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BRCA show a favorable association.
KIRC, BRCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where RCL1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
